The divorce was final today…

Been a while but all is good. Fistula is ready to use and am feeling good. Started taking 1800mg of colostrum twice a day starting on the 4th of Jan. Seems to be doing something already as I was feeling a cold and allergies yesterday and today all is well. Mom has a bad cold and my son had a stomach flu and I have not had either. Pretty good since my immune is so suppressed from my meds. Have a great day and weekend and God bless!

Beautiful today. Arm is healing nicely and ibuprofen is hardly needed! Woke up this morning in a major fog so I went back to sleep. Seems much better now Hope y’all have a great holiday and God bless!

Treatment went ok but i feel crappy. Had to hassle with Byrum healthcare about my bill and bla bla bla any got it fixed for now. I feel really lethargic and crappy, lol Oh well tomorrow will be a better day. God bless.

Surgery went well…just pain and swelling now. Got some vision back in my right eye! Just a tiny bit and all I can think of is that they gave me a 100mg rescue dose of steroids during the surgery. Thank you God! I asked my surgeon to take some OR pics for me and he did. I will post them God bless.

Will be there at 7:30 surgery at 9:00. Should be about a 4 hour surgery. will stay there 3 to 4 days. They are going to place a new fistula in my right upper arm. Hopefully it will take and mature and I will be able to use it in 3 or 4 months. Hope y’all have a great evening and God bless!

Went in for my treatment and it all went well. Had 3 Texas State University nursing students observing how to do plasma pheresis so that was fun. They are always impressed with how much I know about things but when you have been doing it for over 2 years you tend to absorb it all. Also got the report from the radiologist and it said my perm cath was not in the way but my veins are still small so it will be harder for the fistula to mature…but its all we got to work with so we will move forward. The surgery might get moved to Friday but I have not heard anything yet so maybe it will still be on Thursday. Hope everyone has a great day and God bless!

woke up at 4:30 this morning for some reason…probably anxious about my appt. with the surgeon today. Not worried about anything in particular… its the waiting that gets to me. I have had this operation before and know whats going to happen. In other news it was suggested to me to check on my B-12 level. She said it was something people with MS etc, had issues with and it might be low. I will ask tomorrow when I get my treatment and see what the level is. Thanks Kathie! It is great and the forums are a wonderful place to get information, There you can find posts about whats real and what is a scam. It also lets you enter your medical info like symptoms,treatments,weight,MSRS score and tons of other things. You can view data on drugs and side affects based on what other re taking and also compare things with what the other 40,000 or so people have put in. I highly recommend it. It is not just for people with MS. They have many different diseases that you can choose to fit what you have. Well its time to make the coffee! Have a great day and God bless!
